Outreach Programs

The Outreach Center at the Governor's School for Science and Mathematics is a statewide resource of exemplary programs that improve and support the science and mathematics achievement of South Carolina students.

Camp Invention at GSSM is a weeklong summer enrichment day experience for Hartsville-area children entering grades one through six.

From Middle School to College is a new, innovative Readiness Initiative designed to prepare middle schoolers for entrance into GSSM and for careers in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

The Innovation, Technology & Entrepreneurship Among Middle Schoolers (iTEAMS) camp is a technology-based day camp for rising 8th and 9th graders from across Berkeley County who are interested in pursuing studies and careers in computer science, engineering, programming and business.

GoSciTech is a series of one-week, residential science and technology summer camps for rising eighth, ninth and tenth grade students. 

The Summer Program for Research Interns is an intensive six-week mentored research program for rising high school seniors.
