The candidate selected must be able to teach college-level introductory courses and develop an elective course(s) in chemistry complementary to the Organic Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry already taught. In addition to teaching gifted and talented students in a small class setting, the successful candidate must be innovative, willing to guide and tutor students, and adhere to an office hour schedule. A willingness to conduct research and mentor students in chemistry project areas is a positive. Academic advising, student activity advising, and occasional evening/weekend commitments are a regular part of faculty responsibilities.

GSSM seeks an exceptional Computer Science Instructor beginning no later than August 2012.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in the Computer Science and Information Systems disciplines. This includes programming fundamentals, object-oriented programming, data structures and elective courses in topics depending on the candidate’s interest such as parallel programming, computer architecture, operating systems, artificial intelligence and web development. Faculty are expected to actively participate in curriculum development, development and assessment of learning outcomes.
